General eBay Profile/Policies


Each of the sites we sell on seem to have slightly different policies.  Our hope is that through good communication, any issue can be resolved to the satisfaction of all parties.

If you are unhappy with ANY part of our services, PLEASE contact us immediately so we can attempt to resolve the situation.  Our goal is to make sure you are happy with your purchases, and we will do everything we can to make sure that happens.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:  We only accept payments through Pay Pal in USD (U.S. Dollars) - items over $50 will require insurance and will have to be sent Priority Mail.

Payment policy

PAYMENT: Full payment for your item is expected within 24 hours. PayPal is the only method of payment we accept.  eBay will no longer let us accept Money Orders or Cashier/Certified Checks.  In addition, we DO NOT ACCEPT personal checks or cash, so PLEASE do not bid if you can not comply with our requirements.  Your payment will be returned and the item will be re-listed.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:  WE ONLY ACCEPT PAY PAL IN USD! ALL SALES MADE TO BUYERS IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WILL BE CHARGED SALES TAX.

Shipping information

SHIPPING: We pack well and ship fast, generally within 24 hours of receiving payment, or you will be notified of any delay. We will notify you when your item(s) ship, and give you any tracking information. We strongly suggest insurance on most items, and require it on certain items close to or over $100.  We use the USPS shipping calculator (www.usps.com) to calculate our shipping. We use Media rates (books, CD’s, records) whenever possible. Please email us if you have questions or need help, especially on overseas shipping costs. We add minimal handling fees on our items to cover costs from USPS, basic handling, listing/selling/payment collection fees, packaging materials, ink, office supplies, gas, etc.  We are open to alternate shipping methods, so please contact us prior to payment of your item if you find a better/cheaper way. 

Return policy

Although it is very rare, mistakes can and do happen, and we are MORE than willing to work with our buyers to resolve any problems they encounter with our items. We must be notified of any concerns within 48 hours of receipt of the item if you are requesting a refund. We understand that damage can happen during shipment, which is why we strongly suggest insurance. We package our items very carefully, and are not responsible for items that are not insured. If you need to file an insurance claim with the postal service, we will be happy to promptly provide any relevant photographs or documentation. If we ask a buyer to return an item to us, the item needs to be returned in the condition it was sent, it needs to be properly packaged, and must be tracked/insured before a refund will be considered. All details of the return must be discussed PRIOR to returning the item to us.

QUESTIONS & CONCERNS: We are extremely approachable and easy to work with. If you have ANY questions or concerns about any item, shipping, or any other issue, PLEASE contact us immediately. We check our email frequently, and have never let an issue go unaddressed for more than 24 hours. Please make sure you ask questions before bidding on our items. If you are unhappy with any part of our services, PLEASE contact us immediately so we can attempt to resolve the situation rather than dealing with negative feedback. We have not and will NOT leave negative feedback for anyone without ample communication first, and expect the same courtesy in return.

Feedback Policy

We leave positive feedback for our buyers as soon as our feedback is received. We do not expect feedback until after the item has been delivered and meets your satisfaction. We follow the progress of our items closely, and often contact our buyers to be sure the item was received in good condition, and ask to be contacted if any questions arise. We also send polite reminders to please leave us positive feedback after the item has been delivered, or to contact us with any concerns. Although warranted on a couple of occasions, we have not yet left negative feedback for anyone on eBay. We have been able to resolve our couple of issues with clear communication, and were happy to leave positive feedback which will keep everyone’s feedback scores clear. Again, all we ask is the same professional, courteous treatment in return.

Shipping Insurance

eBay no longer lets sellers offer shipping insurance at the time of purchase.  All shipping charges shown DO NOT INCLUDE any insurance for your purchase UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICTED.  On higher priced items we will add insurance charges into the handling fees but will disclose this information in the listing language as well.  If you would like insurance added to your purchase, PLEASE CONTACT US before you pay so we can send you a corrected invoice showing the additional charge for insurance.  If you choose NOT to have insurance, we will not be responsible for packages lost or damaged by the USPS.  We obtain written confirmation on all packages once they are received into the USPS shipping system. 

Thoughts on Feedback…

As stated in our profile, in our experience as a buyer and a seller, we can think of NO valid reason to warrant leaving Negative feedback.  We feel that ANY issue, no matter how large, can be resolved with clear communication and patience.  Because of this, we have NEVER left any buyer or seller negative feedback, even before eBay made the ridiculous changes in their feedback policies.  We will leave buyers positive feedback AFTER we receive their positive feedback (we leave feedback for sellers after we are in receipt of our purchase).  We have clear selling policies, and welcome ANY questions.  Feedback is the best way to show our buyers and other sellers that we are reputable, fair, and easy to work with, and this works the same way when we leave positive feedback for you.  If you are prone to leaving negative or neutral feedback, or none at all, please reconsider before bidding or making an offer on our items.  eBay is making it very tough to be a seller, and we are doing everything we can to remain in this venue.  We are trying to wait out the ever changing policies and rapidly increasing fees, and still maintain competitive pricing and low shipping costs. 

If you have encountered ANY problems with any item you purchased from us, PLEASE let us know right away before leaving feedback.  We value all information from our buyers, and it is especially important that we know if your purchase is NOT to your satisfaction.  We are proud of having an excellent selling reputation, as well as making sure our items are clearly described, packaged, and shipped.  We are very conscious of keeping our buyers happy.  If you are not completely satisfied with any part of the transaction, we request that you contact us prior to leaving us lower marks in any detailed seller rating category or any unfavorable feedback – we would like to have the opportunity to correct the situation.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us, and thank you for visiting our store! 

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS SHIPPING/HANDLING CHARGES

While a large amount of sellers will NOT ship internationally, we like to be able to offer our items outside of the US.  We use www.usps.com to calculate ALL of our shipping, both internationally and within the US.  Most First Class International shipping is fairly uniform, but there are some countries where shipping costs can vary.  We try to clearly incorporate all possible shipping options into our listings using a standard base rate for the item (see example below), calculated by weight and package size.  Any time we sell and ship internationally, we have increased fees from PayPal for currency conversion.  In addition, while we can print and ship expedited International packages directly from our offices at a discounted rate, any First Class International packages have to be driven to the post office and processed differently, with additional fees and documentation.  

For example: Based on one LP fully packaged and ready to ship, the average weight is just over one pound.  We use this calculation for ALL of our single LPs when listing First Class International shipping at $15 (Canada $8, Mexico $12).  This flat rate shipping charge also incorporates all packaging/handling charges, and all extra expenses incurred when selling internationally (approximately $2.52).  We encourage ALL buyers to contact us prior to bidding if they have any questions or concerns, or would like additional information.
